Jessie and I met at the 2015 neighborhood block party just after we both moved. I was pregnant with my first child and she showed up looking radiant with the cutest kids ever and Craig.

We exchanged numbers and I was so excited when she reached out. She was my first mom friend! Jessie is the epitome of when there is a will there is a way. Our first play date involved a blizzard, no power and her sending craig down to rescue me so we could hang. Our stories may not be funny to others but when I think of any time I spend talking or hanging out with Jessie I always smile. She’s traveled the world, is smart, creative and can always find exactly what she wants to show me among her 72 open tabs on her laptop. I’m constantly impressed. She’s my friend that I can always call without judgment for a laugh, cry or just to lounge around with. Our friendship isn’t work. It just is. I’m so grateful to have her as my person.
