Honestly, I can't remember the exact moment that we met...and I blame kids for turning my memories into jello. I met Jessie 7 years ago, our four year daughters were friends and attended preschool at the Rectory. We may have connected while strolling through the eclectic artwork of our children at one of the open houses, the infamous full moon party, or most likely one of the birthday parties we brought our daughters to. But what I can remember, that once we met, I knew she was one of a kind. We bonded over FOOD. Our love for food and shopping for food at Whole Foods. Our conversations centered around nutrients and chemicals in food that could kill us! I know, that might sound mundane to some but for me this was thrilling! I knew this friendship was a keeper. Her laughter transcends rooms, her kindness fills hearts, and her strength is admirable.
